WELCOME TO THE BRIGHTSIDE
An upscale, mid-size, independent venue in the heart of downtown Dayton
The Brightside Music and Event Venue is a multi-use venue that hosts a variety of public and private events, including weddings, so we are often booked on weekends. We host live music most frequently on Thursday evenings, but do have some scheduling flexibility.

We pride ourselves on genuine Midwest hospitality and adding as many amenities as possible to our venue for both talent and attendees alike. You can read our reviews to see just how much 'Brightsiders' enjoy hosting and attending shows with us :-)

To clarify, The Brightside is not a bar with regular hours, so we do not have a walk-up crowd at shows. The venue (and bar) is open based on need only so a concert of any size has to be highly promoted. Of course, we do our best through our newsletter and social media channels to help promote shows, but show promotion is your responsibility.

I love playing The Brightside! We always make it a point to play there when we’re in the Midwest. The crowd is always attentive and Libby treats us like family.
The Brightside is simply one of the warmest, most hospitable, wonderful venues I have ever played at. When we first played there a few years ago we knew it was going to be a permanent notch in our Midwestern tour belt. The staff is amazing and the vibe is right. Just a really special place.
