A fresh celebration of Dayton’s legendary funk roots, revived and reimagined by the next generation of talent! Get ready for an electrifying night of music featuring local bands Luv Locz Experiment, MelinaMarie, and Freakquency, performing both iconic funk hits and original grooves.

This event also supports a great cause! Proceeds benefit ThinkTV, CET, and the Yellow Springs Film Festival, powering public media and arts in our region. You'll be able to view portions of the PBS documentary WE WANT THE FUNK! at this event! This new documentary is a a syncopated voyage through the history of funk music, spanning from African, soul, and early jazz roots, to its rise into the public consciousness.
