About the event
School of Rock Mason debuts at The Brightside with an exuberant tribute to the famed Stop Making Sense concert performed by the Talking Heads 40 years ago. The concert was immortalized on film in what is considered one of the greatest rock concert movies ever. Talking Heads blended New Wave, funk, art rock, and world music to create a new music of their own. School of Rock Mason, which boasts some of the best young musicians in the area, will capture the spirit of the music and the performance of the original concert with their show.
