Widows Home of Dayton's 150th Anniversary Luncheon

We are honored to host the Widow Home of Dayton's 150th Anniversary Luncheon!

Started in 1872 as an organization to care for the widows of Civil War soldiers, the Widows Home of Dayton is now a full-service short-stay rehab and long-term skilled nursing center that helps men and women from all over the Miami Valley.

We are a nonprofit, philanthropic health care community with a unique tradition of leadership that we’ve built over time by treating every resident, patient, and family member with respect and compassion that you don’t find just anywhere. Located in the heart of Greater Dayton, we provide area residents the treatment and attention they need and the quality of life they deserve.

This family atmosphere makes our community very special and is a big reason why we continue to grow and thrive. In fact, in an industry that’s known for frequent employee turnover, more than half of our Widows Home staff members have been with us for longer than ten years! They stay because they enjoy the people they care for and work with and because they share our deep commitment to improving lives every single day.

We feel honored to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the home and invite you to celebrate with us as we continue to support the home that was founded by some of Dayton's most notable women.
